కాగితం తో చేసిన శరీర భాగాలు

Bones, seen here, are created by using the gilt edges of paper, the kind that can be found in old Bibles. This practice relates directly to quilling's religious origins.
A horizontal cross section of the head.

And a vertical cross section.
Each piece of tissue is quilled to create a unique pattern.
An in-process piece, where the rolls of paper are pinned down to their source material.
The final product, in its box, is a nod to both scientific and religious artwork.
